Morgan Lewis has been named the fourth strongest law firm brand by BTI Consulting Group in its 2019 Brand Elite report, representing a nine-place jump over the firm’s 2018 ranking#13 spot. The ranking places Morgan Lewis among the top four best brands, alongside global firms Skadden, Jones Day, and Latham & Watkins.
The annual rankings are based on nearly 700 in-depth interviews with legal decision-makers, including general counsel, at $1 billion-plus companies in virtually every major industry.
“We are never complacent—we continually assess and work to anticipate our clients’ needs to present a proposed solution before even asked,” Firm Chair Jami McKeon told Law360 in its coverage of the survey. “Morgan Lewis enters partnerships with our clients, often working hand-in-glove to understand their business needs.”
Morgan Lewis earned “Best of the Best” rankings in five of the nine factors BTI uses to measure brand strength, including assessments of clients’ willingness to recommend a firm to peers, clients’ perception of a firm as worthy of premium value, and client views of a firm in terms of innovation.
This recognition follows Morgan Lewis’s ranking earlier this year as the third strongest law firm brand in the United States by Acritas in its US Law Firm Brand Index 2019.
